Tombow Pencils

I went for the easy joke. I admit it.

I’m engaging my pencil lust again this morning. Stylish people write with pencils. There’s something about the glide, and the idea that you have to pay attention to your point to continue to make your point. Symbolism, and all that.

Up on the Hickoree’s Hard Goods site, these Japanese Tombow 8900 Pencils. What’s great about them? “The yellow packaging, green paint color, and hexagonal design have remained virtually unchanged since 1928.” That’s one thing.

The other is that you can select your hardness, which is more than you can say about white men from Williamson County.
